TL;DR

July 3 brings a diverse slate of electronic music releases spanning multiple genres. Martin Garrix and Madonna have released Bizarre from Madonna's Confessions II album, while David Guetta, Third Party, and John Martin deliver the progressive house track Human. Skrillex and Solomun's club collaboration Rumpta arrives ahead of their Pacha Ibiza date on July 5.

Madonna Returns to Dance Music with Martin Garrix

Martin Garrix and Madonna have released Bizarre, a collaboration from Madonna's new Confessions II album. The track was first played by Martin Garrix during his three-night Brooklyn run in June, giving the song its first live moment before the full album release. For Madonna, Bizarre connects back to the dance music direction of Confessions on a Dance Floor, while Martin Garrix brings the record into the current EDM space through one of his biggest live shows of the year.

Progressive House Collaboration Surfaces After Festival Circulation

David Guetta, Third Party, and John Martin have released Human, a long-awaited progressive house collaboration that had already been played in live sets before its official release. Third Party brought the track back into circulation during their recent shows, including their World DJ Festival Korea set, while early clips of the record had already made it one of the IDs listeners were waiting to see finished. The release also brings John Martin back into the kind of emotional vocal space closely tied to some of progressive house's biggest moments.

Skrillex and Solomun Drop Club Collaboration Ahead of Ibiza Date

Skrillex and Solomun have released Rumpta, their first official collaboration after the track first surfaced as a live ID in summer 2025. The single comes ahead of Skrillex joining Solomun at Pacha Ibiza on July 5 for Solomun +1, linking the release directly to one of Ibiza's most established Sunday residencies. Released through Diynamic Music, Rumpta brings together Solomun's house and techno world with Skrillex's recent run of club-focused releases.

Bass, Trance, and Brazilian House Round Out the Week

Subtronics and Saint Monet have released Fall Back to Nothing on Cyclops Recordings, a track that first debuted during the Fibonacci Tour in early 2026 and later became one of the standout unreleased moments in his live sets, including Coachella and The Gorge. The release shows a more cinematic and lyric-focused side of Subtronics.

Argy, Paul Oakenfold, and Planet Perfecto Knights have released a new version of ResuRection through Perfecto Records and Armada Music, bringing one of trance's long-running classics into current rotation. The original Planet Perfecto Knights track has lived through multiple versions over the years, including Paul Oakenfold's Full On Fluoro Mix and the later Maurice West remix. This new release brings Argy into that history after a major run in melodic house and techno.

Vintage Culture and DEPARTAMENTO have released Toxic through AFFAIRS Records. The collaboration follows DEPARTAMENTO's remix of Elderbrook and Vintage Culture's Run, which had already connected the duo before this official single.

Additional releases this week include Miles Away from Cheat Codes featuring Joy Oladokun, and Sad Girls from Bebe Rexha and David Guetta.
