TL;DR

Martin Garrix has released "This Dream of You," marking his second solo vocal performance on a track. The progressive house single opens with acoustic guitar and builds into a synth-soaked drop, and is expected to appear on his upcoming second album later this year.

“Singing is very far out of my comfort zone but am excited to try new things and grow/learn”

“Premiered it at Tomorrowland as my intro and so happy to finally share it with you guys”

Second Solo Vocal Performance

Martin Garrix has released "This Dream of You," a heartfelt single that marks the second time he sings solo on one of his records. The track follows "Catharina," released in March, which was Garrix's first solo vocal after he sang with Arijit Singh on "Angels for Each Other" in 2025.

"Singing is very far out of my comfort zone but am excited to try new things and grow/learn," Garrix wrote in an Instagram post. "Premiered it at Tomorrowland as my intro and so happy to finally share it with you guys."

Acoustic Opening Builds Into Progressive House

The track opens with a gentle acoustic guitar progression as Garrix's raw vocal carries the hesitation in the writing before it gives way to surrender: "I take my chance, now it's the moment / I can't lose now, it's you I've chosen." Garrix then builds into a sweeping, synth-soaked drop, pulling the song out of its hushed acoustic opening and into a soaring progressive house anthem.

Album Plans and Recent Activity

Both "Catharina" and "This Dream of You" are expected to land on his second album, which he has said will arrive later this year and is his first full-length release since 2022's Sentio. The single also follows a run of high-profile releases, including "Fireflies" with U2 in July.

Garrix wrapped his 11th Ushuaïa Ibiza residency on September 24 and will play STMPD RCRDS' 10-year anniversary show at AFAS Live during Amsterdam Dance Event on October 22.
