MEETCH Talks New Single 'Reflections', Ørjan Nilsen Collabs & 2026

US producer MEETCH has released his latest single "Reflections," featuring Italian vocalist Lacey, following his August collaboration with Ørjan Nilsen on "Body On Me." The new track finds the robot-headed artist taking full production control, delivering what he describes as a meditation on his evolution since launching his robot brand in 2012.

"Reflections makes me think of the moments and memories I've had with everyone over the years. But also makes me think of all of the versions of myself as an artist and a performer," MEETCH said. The track features industrial saw effects layered with synth runs, anchored by Lacey's vocal line. MEETCH found the topline during his search for new collaborators and built the instrumental around it. "I felt the meaning and felt the mood immediately without even knowing how the instrumental would pair," he explained.

The producer is blending the sounds that started his career with contemporary big-stage styles, focusing on vocals that carry meaning beyond the production itself. "Give people something they can remember and blast every day. Not just for the sound but for the meaning too," he said.

Nilsen partnership and upcoming collabs

The recent Ørjan Nilsen collaboration represents a full-circle moment for MEETCH, who opened on a side stage when Nilsen played Webster Hall in New York in 2013. "I was just some random opener on a side stage at that point. So it's been amazing to come full circle and be able to work with him now like this," he said. A second Nilsen collaboration is in the works.

MEETCH is also finishing a track with Hel:sløwed that combines trance and tech-house, featuring vocals from his friend Salvo. The song took months of back-and-forth on the vocal direction. Asked about his ideal studio partner, MEETCH named Dillon Francis, citing their aligned sense of humor and content creation potential. "I love making content and recording videos, so I think with my robot brand we could make something pretty ultimate."

LA scene and what's next

Based in Los Angeles, MEETCH has been splitting time between shows at venues including Pacha, Webster Hall, and Avalon Hollywood, and content creation. He's been playing and attending the HOLYSH#T afterhours parties, which focus on house music. "My buddy owns it and it has truly built up and it's pretty huge now," he said.

MEETCH is scheduled to appear at a Robotic Rumble x Pulse Theory pop-up event at ADE on October 23rd with upcoming collaborator TLUXX. The producer sees 2026 as a pivotal year, with multiple collaborations in the pipeline and no signs of slowing down his output.
