TL;DR

This week's releases span trance, house, techno, and UK garage. Armin van Buuren and Omiki deliver a 140 BPM rework of "Sunny Days," while BUNT. drops his 15-track debut album "Levi did it" through Arista Records. Timmy Trumpet explores heartbreak on his second studio album "REVELATIONS," and Sammy Virji surprise-released an eight-track UK garage album titled "Open Late."

Armin van Buuren and Omiki Rework "Sunny Days"

Armin van Buuren and Omiki have released a new version of "Sunny Days" through Armada Music. The track revisits Armin van Buuren's 2017 single featuring Josh Cumbee, whose vocals remain part of the new version. This time, Omiki adds a faster, more powerful trance sound, with the extended mix running at 140 BPM. Armin van Buuren has also played the rework during his recent sets, giving audiences an early listen.

BUNT. Delivers Debut Album

BUNT. has released "Levi did it," his 15-track debut album through Arista Records. The project follows his 2024 EP "Levi Don't Do It" and includes tracks such as "TRIPPIN," "i need u," "Stay," and "Nothing Lasts Forever." The album continues his folk house sound, combining acoustic influences with warm house rhythms and melodic electronic production.

The release follows a major year for BUNT., including performances at Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Ultra Croatia, and Lollapalooza. His recent success includes more than 1.2 billion streams and over 400,000 tickets sold.

French Techno Classic Gets New Life

Kiko and Olivier Giacomotto have revisited "World Cup 1998," giving the French producer's 1998 techno track a new remix. Originally released through Ozone Records, the label founded by Kiko and Oxia, the track took just three hours to produce. It later received support from Laurent Garnier, who played it at the first Techno Parade in Paris that September.

Nearly three decades later, the original returns with three remixes from Kiko, Kiko & Olivier Giacomotto, and Waltervelt, released through Sekence / Wagram.

Sami Brielle Takes on Club Culture

Sami Brielle has released "how 2 get backstage," a new tech-house single produced by Matt Sassari and Boris Way. The idea began when Boris Way met Sami Brielle backstage at [UNVRS] Ibiza and later sent her the song's initial topline. With Sami Brielle in Los Angeles and Boris Way in Paris, the two completed the writing and recorded vocals over Zoom before Matt Sassari joined the production.

The track takes a humorous approach to club culture, focusing on the lengths people might go to for backstage access. It also follows Sami Brielle's success with "LET'S GO," her collaboration with David Guetta and Jaden Bojsen, which has surpassed 300 million streams worldwide.

Sammy Virji Surprise-Drops UK Garage Album

Sammy Virji surprised listeners with "Open Late," an eight-track album released independently on October 21. The project follows his 2025 album "Same Day Cleaning" and features collaborations with Joy Anonymous, Wet, and Hans Glader. Inspired by life on tour, the album captures the experience of attending one of Sammy Virji's DJ sets, incorporating unexpected key changes and breakdowns that reflect his live performances.

He also celebrated the surprise release with a pop-up event at 93 Feet East in London, where attendees heard the new music before it became available on streaming platforms.

Timmy Trumpet Explores Heartbreak on Second Album

Timmy Trumpet has released "REVELATIONS," his second studio album, featuring 15 tracks released through Spinnin' Records. The project follows his debut album "Mad World" and explores heartbreak, vulnerability, and self-discovery following the end of a relationship that lasted more than a decade.

Working with co-producer Mike Hawkins, Timmy Trumpet discarded around 30 tracks before creating a more personal collection of songs. The album includes "Will I Be Alright?" and "Dance Till I Die," alongside collaborations with Winona Oak, John Martin, Alle Farben, and Frank Walker. Additionally, ZEDD recorded live drums for "Dancing On The Edge."

Describing the album as a form of therapy, Timmy Trumpet uses "REVELATIONS" to share a different side of his music and personal experiences. The 15-track project is available now through Spinnin' Records.
