NGHTMRE and Flux Pavilion Reunite for Red Hot Chili Peppers Flip

A Decade-Long Reunion

NGHTMRE and Flux Pavilion have released Can't Stop Me Now, their first collaboration since 2016's Feel Your Love. The drum & bass track builds on the Red Hot Chili Peppers' 2003 hit Can't Stop, which the band cleared for release, and incorporates the vocal hook from Flux Pavilion's 2010 dubstep anthem I Can't Stop.

From DJ Tool to Official Release

Can't Stop Me Now began life a year ago as a tool for NGHTMRE's DJ sets before evolving into an official single. The track rides John Frusciante's instantly recognizable guitar riff while Flux's "I can't stop" refrain stacks on top, then escalates into rapid-fire drum & bass with breakbeats spattering beneath heavy layers of distortion.

NGHTMRE's Drum & Bass Era

The pivot to drum & bass aligns with NGHTMRE's recent direction. His 2025 album MINDFULL featured drum & bass cuts such as Up Top with Flowdan and Sully, and last month he released a drum & bass rework of Jordin Sparks' 2008 hit No Air.

NGHTMRE called the Red Hot Chili Peppers his "all time fav band" when announcing the release on social media more than three months ago. Can't Stop Me Now is available on streaming services now.
