Belgian DJ and producer Novah has released her debut EP, Rave Kid, via Tomorrowland Music. She marked the occasion with an exclusive release party at the Atomium in Brussels, opening its doors to just 200 fans for an intimate evening that stood in deliberate contrast to the arenas and international stages she now regularly calls home.
Four Tracks Rooted in Rave Culture
Opening track "Rave Complete" sets the tone with Scandinavian-style vocals and atmospheric melodies, pulling listeners straight into a high-intensity rave headspace. The title track "Rave Kid" is the most personal piece on the project — Novah describes it as being rooted in the values she held when she first stepped into a rave.
"Rave Never Ends" features vocalist Evelina and taps into that universal feeling of wanting the night to go on forever — the idea that the rave lives on long after the last beat drops. Closing things out is "LaLaLo", the most energetic and playful of the four, built for euphoric crowd moments and designed to leave you wanting another spin.
From 15,000-Capacity Arenas to 200-Person Rooms
The timing of the release reflects just how much ground Novah has covered in a short space of time. Back in April, she headlined Rave Rebels — a b2b set alongside Nico Moreno — selling out the 15,000-capacity ING Arena, just steps from the Atomium itself. Within a single square kilometre of Brussels, she's now delivered two of the defining moments of her career so far.
She currently appears on the cover of ELLE Magazine's newest edition, and this summer she'll make her debut on the Tomorrowland Mainstage. A touring schedule spanning the US, South America, Australia and Europe rounds out what is shaping up to be a landmark year. For an artist operating at that scale, choosing to launch Rave Kid in front of 200 people says something about where her priorities remain.
