A Decade in the Making
After ten years as the voice behind BONNIE X CLYDE, Paige Lopynski has launched a solo project under the name GIELLE. The debut single "Caught In The Fire" arrived today, co-written and co-produced with John Summit, Dan Litman, and Travis Duval. Lopynski described the release as a definitive inflection point in her career.
"I truly feel like the last 10 years of my life has led up to this moment," she said.
Lightning in the Dark
The track explores the magnetic pull of an undeniable connection through evocative lyrics channeling the emotional voltage of lightning: "You're lightning in the dark / I feel you worlds apart." As the arrangement builds toward its drop, Lopynski's distorted voice contorts through the mix, mirroring the dizzying sensation of being entirely consumed by someone else.
When she sings, "I'm caught in the fire, you're taking me higher," her production swells to match that soaring sentiment and form a pulsing latticework with Summit's anthemic sound.
"Caught In The Fire" is available now on streaming platforms.
