TL;DR

PROPER NYE/NYD has revealed its Phase Two lineup for the December 31–January 1 festival at Petco Park in San Diego. FISHER, Kaskade, Four Tet B2B Tiga, Ship Wrek, Dombresky, San Pacho, and Novah join a roster that already includes Lane 8, Sara Landry, I Hate Models, and multiple back-to-back performances across house and techno.

Phase Two Adds Depth Across House and Techno

PROPER NYE/NYD has announced its Phase Two lineup, bringing FISHER, Kaskade, Four Tet B2B Tiga, Ship Wrek, Dombresky, San Pacho, and Novah to the two-day event at Petco Park in San Diego on December 31 and January 1. The additions strengthen the festival's existing balance of house and techno without straying from the blueprint established by FNGRS CRSSD.

FISHER, Dombresky, Ship Wrek, and San Pacho bolster the house contingent, while Novah joins a techno lineup that already features Sara Landry, I Hate Models, Klangkuenstler, and Nico Moreno. Kaskade adds another marquee name with a catalog that spans house and melodic electronic sounds.

Four Tet B2B Tiga Joins Growing List of Collaborative Sets

One of the more intriguing additions is the pairing of Four Tet and Tiga, two artists whose trajectories through electronic music have followed very different paths. The back-to-back set joins Cloonee B2B KETTAMA B2B Josh Baker as another collaborative performance across the weekend.

The first phase had already laid out a wide range of sounds. Lane 8 and Cassian represent the melodic side, while Chris Lorenzo, SIDEPIECE, Beltran, and Ben Sterling held down house duties before the latest wave of announcements.

Three-Year Run at Petco Park Continues

FNGRS CRSSD launched PROPER NYE/NYD at Petco Park at the end of 2022, expanding its San Diego footprint beyond the twice-yearly CRSSD Festival. The New Year event has remained at the downtown stadium each year since, with multiple stages programmed around house, techno, and adjacent electronic styles.

This year's edition follows the same format across December 31 and January 1, closing out 2024 and opening 2025 at the same venue.
