Day-to-night format returns to Vancouver
Prospect 2026 has announced its lineup for an extended festival experience on Saturday, August 22, running from 5 PM until 6 AM. Presented by Vantek, the event unfolds in two chapters: an open-air daytime portion at 1201 Franklin St followed by an indoor nighttime session.
The outdoor stage will feature dedicated sound and production, local art installations, food trucks, vendors, and festival merchandise. At 11 PM, the festival moves indoors and continues through the night.
Kevin Saunderson headlines daytime slate
Kevin Saunderson, a member of the Belleville Three and founder of Inner City, will headline the daytime portion alongside AWood, ZDBT, and Afrooz. Saunderson's work with KMS Records, Metroplex Records, and Transmat helped define the foundations of techno more than four decades ago.
AWood represents Vancouver's local scene on the daytime bill, sharing the stage with the international headliners.
Luigi Madonna leads nighttime program
Italian techno artist Luigi Madonna will close out the festival alongside Edgar Cal, JP-91, and Notevendown during the 11 PM to 6 AM indoor session. Madonna, known for his releases on Contempo and Planet Rhythm, has performed across clubs and festivals worldwide for more than a decade.
Art installations and ticketing
Prospect's "Beyond the Dancefloor" program will showcase local artists through the "Art at the Park" initiative, creating installations and live art throughout the venue. Early bird tickets are nearly sold out and are available through RA Tickets.
The festival takes place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 1201 Franklin St in Vancouver.
