Rivo and Doriann have released their first collaboration, a techno-Latin crossover called Taka Taka, out now on Tomorrowland Music. The track blends driving techno production with a Latin vocal hook designed to work both on festival main stages and in club settings.
The Producers Behind the Track
Rivo is a 26-year-old self-taught DJ and producer from Brive-la-Gaillarde who gained international attention in 2024 with his official remix of Disclosure's "You & Me." His rework of Armin van Buuren's "In & Out of Love" and his debut original "Last Night" have each crossed 50 million streams. His sound centers on melodic techno layered with Afro drums, and he's played more than 200 shows since 2024, including a residency at UNVRS Ibiza alongside Eric Prydz, plus sets at Tomorrowland, Drumsheds London and Club Space Miami.
Doriann has built his profile through a melancholic yet melodic style with a groove-driven backbone. His breakout single "Mention" landed on Solomun's Diynamic imprint and received airplay on BBC Radio 1. He's since released on John Summit's Experts Only, Ultra Records, Simulate and Drumcode. It was his 2024 release "Nocturnal" on Experts Only, co-produced with Adam Sellouk, that first caught Rivo's attention.
From First Listen to First Collab
"I had been following Doriann for a long time, having played 'Nocturnal' with Adam Sellouk a lot," Rivo said. "We exchanged a lot of ideas, I really wanted something with the same dark club energy, with a catchy hook, and 'Taka Taka' definitely delivers all that. Very excited for this record, and for a first release on Tomorrowland Music."
The track pairs dark, driving techno with a Latin vocal hook that aims to bridge the gap between festival and club environments. The collaboration marks both producers' first release on Tomorrowland Music. Rivo currently commands a combined audience of over one million across TikTok and Instagram, while Doriann's tracks have become regular fixtures at major festivals worldwide.
"Taka Taka" is streaming now on Tomorrowland Music.
