Brazilian DJ and producer Roddy Lima has released a new single, "Ziplock," the first preview of his forthcoming EP OVERDRIVE, scheduled for July 31.
A Peak-Time Tech-House Cut
"Ziplock" is a brooding, peak-time tech-house track built around pitched-down vocals and a tight, hypnotic groove. It leans into the darker, more stripped-back direction Lima has been moving toward—functional, high-impact, and designed for late-night dancefloors.
The single comes with a gritty, vlog-style music video shot on the road. The documentary aesthetic mirrors the track's raw energy and gives an unfiltered look at life as a touring artist.
Momentum Across Underground Labels
Lima has been building serious momentum over the past couple of years, with releases on Repopulate Mars, Experts Only, Black Book Records, Truesoul, and Drumcode—a run of labels that speaks to where his sound sits in the current underground landscape.
That momentum carries into his summer schedule. Lima is slated for a set at Tomorrowland on July 25, followed by an appearance at John Summit's Experts Only Ibiza takeover on July 27 at UNVRS.
"Ziplock" is out now across all platforms, with the full OVERDRIVE EP arriving at the end of the month.
