Album follows touring hiatus
Sara Landry has announced her second studio album, Divine Intervention, set for release October 16 on her HEKATE imprint. The announcement arrives alongside the album's third single, Angel Dust, a collaboration with hard dance artist Alex Farrell.
Landry stepped away from touring earlier this year to focus on writing the follow-up to 2024's Spiritual Driveby. "I'm beyond excited to be announcing my second album," she said in a statement. "My first album was the greatest joy of my life to create and this far surpasses that. Divine Intervention is a continuation of that feeling that we are all energetically linked and that sound can't be boxed into categories. This album is about bringing people together to dance."
Third single pairs Landry with frequent collaborator
Angel Dust reunites Landry with Farrell, who previously appeared on Prisoner and On My Mind from Spiritual Driveby. The track follows earlier Divine Intervention singles Shake That and Hands Up. "I'm trying to capture that moment where people lose themselves on the dancefloor and then give them that extra push to go deeper into their own universe," Landry said.
Red Rocks headline show precedes album release
The EDM.com Class of 2024 alum has festival appearances at UNTOLD, ARC and Seismic Dance Event scheduled ahead of the album drop, plus a headline show at Red Rocks on October 10. Divine Intervention arrives October 16.
