TL;DR

Seven Lions released a remix album on June 12 reimagining tracks from his 2025 album 'Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars' and companion EP 'The Dreams Strange and Eternal'. The collection features reworks from Millennial Trash, Rad Cat, Matt Fax, FLOTE, Quackson, STAR SEED, Last Heroes, SpectraLoad, HVDES, MashBit, and Lost Wolves, who won a global remix contest run by Seven Lions and Ophelia Records.

Label Mates and Collaborators Reimagine Award-Winning Album

Seven Lions released Asleep in the Garden of Infernal Stars & The Dreams Strange and Eternal Remixes on June 12 through Ophelia Records. The package reimagines tracks from his 2025 album and its companion EP, both of which earned recognition at the Dancing Astronaut and EDM Awards earlier this year.

Millennial Trash opens the collection with a bass-heavy dubstep rework of the title track that preserves the cinematic atmosphere of the original. 'Breaking Me' receives two treatments: Rad Cat takes it down a breakbeat route, while Matt Fax delivers a smooth, laidback classic house version.

Multiple Reworks for Fan Favorites

'Delusional' also scores a pair of remixes. FLOTE holds onto the euphoric energy that made the original a fan favorite, while longtime collaborator Quackson brings his signature wonky dubstep style to the record. STAR SEED pushes 'By the Light of the Moon' into festival-ready territory, lifting the ethereal original considerably.

'Past You' receives two reworkings as well. Last Heroes' version has already been doing the rounds in Seven Lions' recent live sets, earning a strong fan response before the official release. Italian drum & bass producer SpectraLoad delivers the second, a powerful reimagining rooted in his trademark production style. HVDES takes 'Thrice Woven' into darker, more brooding dubstep territory.

Contest Winner and EP Tracks Featured

Tracks from The Dreams Strange and Eternal also feature prominently. 'Free' — the EP's lead single with Brieanna Grace — gets two new versions. MashBit, known widely for his viral mashups and genre-blending work, handles the first. The second comes from Lost Wolves, who won a global remix contest run by Seven Lions and Ophelia Records, beating out thousands of submissions worldwide. Cyclops closes the project with his remix of 'Hurricane', reshaping the trance-infused original into a restrained, measured finale.

The remix album lands as Seven Lions wraps up his North American headline tour, which brought the world of both records to life across venues including Brooklyn Storehouse, Houston's 713 Music Hall, a sold-out Red Rocks Amphitheatre — where he partnered with Conscious Alliance on hunger-relief initiatives — and two consecutive nights at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium. Several artists featured on the remix project joined him on select dates throughout the run.
