The second annual Valley of the Seven Stars takes over Oak Ridge Estate in Arrington, Virginia from October 8–11, marking GRiZ's return after a two-year hiatus. The festival has earned a reputation as a premier "homie" festival in the bass community, trading commercial polish for deep curation and authentic energy. Here are seven performances to highlight on your schedule.

Thursday kicks off with Kaleena Zanders

Revered as one of modern dance music's most captivating vocal powerhouses, Kaleena Zanders channels gospel roots through classic house grooves. Her Thursday evening set from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM will set an uplifting, soulful tone for the entire cosmic campout before the heavier bass takes over. Her live performances go far beyond ordinary DJ sets, offering a full vocal showcase.

Saturday's emotional centerpiece: Chasing The Golden Hour

GRiZ returns with his Chasing The Golden Hour concept, originally conceived as a mixtape series built around vintage samples, mellow hip-hop beats, and live sax riffs. The set runs Saturday from 6:05 PM to 7:20 PM, offering a soulful counterweight to his heavy dubstep headline sets. The sunset slot is designed for collective unwinding, best experienced surrounded by friends on an open hill.

Saturday's prime time slot goes to Mersiv from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM. DJ and producer Anderson Gallegos crafts sets that feel simultaneously meditative and heavy, combining hypnotic downtempo atmospheres with distortion-heavy basslines under his trademark "Pretty Dark Loud" sound design. Earlier in the afternoon, masked duo Richard Finger plays from 4:50 PM to 5:50 PM, bringing relentless sound design and uncompromisingly heavy drops.

Sunday spotlights drum and bass and pure 140

Distinct Motive makes his mainstage debut Sunday evening from 6:50 PM to 7:50 PM. The Ontario producer has spearheaded the revival of pure 140 BPM sound system culture in North America, with productions emphasizing sub-bass, surgical mixing, and deep roots in old-school UK dubstep. Later that night, Hedex takes the stage from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, launching his North American "Nu Era" tour. The UK producer has been taking jump-up rhythms out of underground clubs and pushing them onto major American festival stages.

Late-night R&Bass alternative

Seth David returns to the Seven Stars lineup for a second run, bringing his signature R&Bass sound to the Satellite Stage Friday from 1:00 AM to 2:00 AM. The project fuses classic 90s and 2000s R&B vocals with sub-bass frequencies, giving night owls a refreshing alternative to the standard festival sound.

With four days of music spread across The Valley, festivalgoers are advised to check the official festival app for any last-minute schedule shifts. Set conflicts are inevitable with a lineup this varied.
