Showtek Launches F_CK THE SYSTEM Label with Kate Ryan Collab

A Label Built on Evolution

Showtek has launched F_CK THE SYSTEM, a new record label created in partnership with Dutch independent Be Yourself Music. The imprint is designed as a home for every side of the duo's musical identity, from the harder sounds that launched their career to crossover records and club-focused productions. Rather than committing to a single genre, the label gives brothers Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen one place to follow the music wherever it leads.

Be Yourself Music has spent nearly 20 years shaping the electronic music landscape, working with artists including Bakermat, Brennan Heart, Headhunterz, Mike Williams, Tinlicker, Imanbek, and Vicetone. The partnership brings together Showtek's two-decade career of breaking down musical boundaries with an independent powerhouse known for discovering and developing talent across every corner of dance music.

Kate Ryan Joins for the Debut

The label's first release is an official collaboration with Kate Ryan, a new interpretation of her enduring hit "Ella Elle L'a." The Belgian-French dance icon is celebrating the 25th anniversary of her career in 2026 with a European tour spanning Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, and beyond. With more than 3.5 million records sold, over 500 million streams and a catalog that includes "Désenchantée," "Voyage Voyage," and "Libertine," Ryan remains one of Europe's most successful pop-dance artists.

The story behind the record began in Paris. During their performance at Fun Radio Ibiza Experience inside Accor Arena, Showtek tested an early version of the track in front of thousands of fans. The crowd sang every lyric back to them, turning what started as a live edit into a collaboration that quickly took on a life of its own.

Continuing French Connections

The release also continues Showtek's long-standing connection to French music. Alongside years of collaborations with David Guetta, the duo produced the official remix of GIMS' "Ciel" in 2025, strengthening ties with one of Europe's most influential music markets.
