Skrillex and MPH have released their collaboration "Mirage" on DisOrder/Capitol Records. The track was first premiered by MPH at EDC Las Vegas earlier this year, where it captured immediate attention from fans eager for an official release.
Built in a Single Session
The collaboration came together during one studio session, with the two producers passing a laptop back and forth. "Skrillex would do some bits and pass the laptop to me. I'd do some bits and, pretty soon, we'd married our sounds together," MPH explained. The result is a multi-section track that blends both artists' signature elements—tightly chopped vocal samples, clean sound design, and shifting dynamics that move from energetic drops to a melodic interlude urging crowds to "turn up the vibes" before returning to pounding percussion.
Tour Dates Ahead
MPH's fall tour includes headline and festival performances across the United States and Europe, with additional worldwide dates expected. Skrillex is scheduled to appear at Portola, Austin City Limits, and Head Trip festivals, along with headline shows in Seattle and Chicago.
