Skrillex and Solomun have released Rumpta, a house collaboration that first surfaced during the summer of 2025. The track is out now on Solomun's Diynamic label.
A Year in the Making
The original demo of Rumpta went through several versions before arriving at its final form, tracing back to last year's Tomorrowland festival before it became a fixture in Solomun's DJ sets at Tehmplo Tulum, according to Beatportal. He also opened his set at EDC Las Vegas 2026 with the track.
Bridging Two Worlds
The soulful house track threads a needle between their distinct sensibilities, layering warm, rolling basslines beneath flickers of the glitchy sound design Skrillex has long favored.
Pacha Ibiza This Weekend
The release comes just days before Skrillex joins Solomun in the booth for Solomun+1, the storied Sunday DJ residency at Pacha Ibiza. At the time of writing, the track is available on Beatport but has not yet appeared on major streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
