SOUNDBOKS Drops Lightboks Price to $200 Through August 16

TrackSync Technology Powers Real-Time Lighting

SOUNDBOKS has cut the price of its Lightboks party light by 33 percent through August 16, dropping the unit from $299 to $200. The timing targets tailgating season and college move-in weekends, when portable, music-reactive lighting tends to see heavy use.

The core feature is what SOUNDBOKS calls TrackSync technology, which syncs lighting to a track's intensity, structure, and beat in real time. Instead of a static strobe or single-color wash, Lightboks adjusts as a song builds, drops, or breaks down, aiming for festival-style lighting design without the production crew.

Portable Build and Durability Features

Lightboks weighs 3.86 pounds and includes a grab-and-go handle for transport. It charges via USB-C through an internal battery and carries an IP65 rating with rubber bumpers, designed to withstand spilled drinks and occasional drops. Users can choose from 10 curated color palettes and three energy settings labeled Chill, Dance, and Rave, controlled either through the SOUNDBOKS app or directly on the device.

Expanding Beyond Speakers

The release continues SOUNDBOKS' expansion from its core portable, battery-powered speaker lineup into accessories that round out its outdoor party setup. While Lightboks pairs with the brand's speakers, it functions as a standalone unit.
