Stefan Rose has released Closing In, a melodic techno single via U.S. label Music is 4 Lovers. The track arrives July 31st and continues the producer's momentum following a series of high-profile releases and label partnerships across the melodic house and techno circuit.
From DJ Booth to Production Studio
Stefan Rose began DJing in European clubs at a young age, immersed in house and techno. In recent years, he channeled a period of personal loss into a creative catalyst, shifting his focus toward production to pursue a lifelong ambition. His sound merges warm organic elements with darker synthetic textures, blending dance floor percussion with melodic composition across melodic techno, indie dance, and house.
A Breakout 2025
Rose's 2025 debut EP Abyss on Dear Deer reached number three on the overall Beatport chart, establishing him within the melodic house and techno and indie dance scenes. He followed with the This Feeling EP on Nihil Young's Frequenza imprint, featuring vocalist Sophie Joe, then signed with Tube & Berger's ZEHN Records for Not Right. More recently, he remixed Timo Maas's Macumba for Selador, the imprint co-founded by Dave Seaman and Steve Parry, and released Sardegna with UGENIUS, the Australian label run by The Journey.
Rose has also built momentum through edits of Swedish House Mafia's Leave The World Behind and David Guetta's The World Is Mine, both receiving strong support across the electronic industry.
Hypnotic and Dance Floor-Driven
Speaking about the release, Rose comments: "My latest release 'Closing In' represents another step forward in my artistic journey, perfectly capturing the melodic atmospheres, powerful vocals and fulsome percussion that comprise my current sound. It's a hypnotic single that will rock a dancefloor in the moment but also stay with you long after the night is over."
Now splitting his time between New York and London, Rose continues to expand his international profile. Closing In is available July 31st via Music is 4 Lovers.
