Sultan + Shepard Remix Prinze George's 'Centuries' for This Never Happened

From Bootleg to Official Release

Sultan + Shepard have returned to This Never Happened, Lane 8's label, with an official remix of Prinze George's 'Centuries'. The Canadian duo originally created a bootleg version of the 2021 alt-synth pop track before Lane 8 encouraged them to pursue an official collaboration.

The remix blends Prinze George's synth-pop aesthetic with Sultan + Shepard's melodic house production. Naomi Almquist's vocals anchor the track, which builds from soft lower frequencies into a restrained progressive house arrangement. The single lyrics, "Sometimes I worry that our love is killing me," repeat throughout without feeling redundant.

Recent Releases and Upcoming Shows

The track follows Sultan + Shepard's 'Twilight' with Shallou and their first 2026 single 'Disappear' featuring Lane 8 and sadHAPPY. For Prinze George, 'Centuries' marks their first release of 2026, following last November's Soft Light EP.

Prinze George also recorded a music video for the collaboration. Sultan + Shepard will perform at Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco this weekend before heading to San Diego for the THN10 Tour, celebrating ten years of This Never Happened.
