Sunburn Festival Announces Four Headliners for 2026 Mumbai Edition

Sunburn Festival has confirmed its first four headliners for the 2026 edition, scheduled for December 18–19 at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai. The Chainsmokers, Sebastian Ingrosso, DJ Snake, and Jason Derulo will anchor the two-day event.

Back-to-Back Tour Commitments

The Chainsmokers will perform December 18, kicking off a three-city India tour that continues at the Indian Sneaker Festival in Delhi on December 19 and Sunburn Arena in Bengaluru on December 20. The run follows the success of tracks such as Closer and Don't Let Me Down.

DJ Snake faces an equally packed schedule. He plays Sunburn Arena at NICE Grounds, Bengaluru, on December 18 before heading to Mumbai the next day, then flies to Phuket for EDC Thailand on December 20. The French producer's catalog includes Turn Down for What, Lean On, and Taki Taki.

A Return to a Familiar Stage

Sebastian Ingrosso played Mahalaxmi Race Course in 2013 with Swedish House Mafia during their One Last Tour. He returns to the same venue thirteen years later as a solo headliner. His catalog includes Reload and Calling (Lose My Mind), both closely associated with the progressive house era of the early 2010s.

Jason Derulo marks a first for the festival as its inaugural pop headliner. His best-known releases include Whatcha Say, Talk Dirty, Want to Want Me, and Swalla. His booking introduces a full pop performance to the top of a lineup historically centered on DJs and electronic artists.

A Venue Tied to Sunburn's History

Mahalaxmi Race Course has hosted multiple Sunburn events before the flagship festival reached Mumbai. Avicii performed at the venue in 2011, followed by Swedish House Mafia in 2013 and Martin Garrix in 2016. The 2026 edition will be the first full festival held at the racecourse.

Last year's edition took place at Infinity Bay, Sewri, from December 19–21, with David Guetta, Above & Beyond, and Sara Landry among the headliners.
