Four-Show Residency Replaces Continental Tour
Swedish House Mafia will return to Ullevi Stadium in Gothenburg for four performances on July 2, 3, 9, and 10, 2027. The dates mark a departure from the typical festival and arena circuit—there will be no other stops in Europe next summer.
The trio of Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso are betting fans will travel to Sweden after the response to their August 29 show at the same venue, which Live Nation described as their biggest concert ever on Swedish soil.
Gothenburg as a Temporary Hub
The city will host pop-up events, dedicated fan spaces, and merch shops tied to the four shows, turning Gothenburg into a temporary destination for the group's global following.
In a statement, Swedish House Mafia explained the decision: "Standing in the heart of Gothenburg, we felt something. The scale, the energy, the connection. The pride of standing together on Swedish soil, with music that travelled from our home to every corner of the world, and hearing it come home through the voices of the crowd. And it's something we want everyone to experience with us. That's why we are coming back."
Early Access for Storm-Canceled Show
Fans who purchased tickets to the August 28 Ullevi show—canceled due to a storm—will receive personal codes for early access to the 2027 dates. A pre-sale opens Tuesday, September 15 at 12pm CEST, with registration available ahead of the general sale.
