TL;DR

Tai Woffinden and David Forbes have released "Mirror Mirror" on Hannah Laing's doof label. The track combines peak-time trance energy with a techno structure, built around a hard-hitting kick and a hook sampling the "mirror mirror on the wall" line. Woffinden, a three-time Speedway World Champion who entered dance music in 2023, joins forces with Glasgow veteran Forbes, who has over two decades in trance, techno, and hardcore.

Tai Woffinden and David Forbes have released "Mirror Mirror" on Hannah Laing's doof imprint, adding another hard-hitting track to the label's catalog of faster dance music.

The Collaborators

Woffinden entered dance music in 2023, bringing the competitive drive from his career as a three-time Speedway World Champion into the studio. Since then, he's collaborated with Oliver Heldens, Gabry Ponte, CERES, and Mauro Picotto, released on Armada Music, and earned regular support from Armin van Buuren.

Forbes is a Glasgow-born producer with over two decades in trance, techno, and hardcore. He's worked alongside Ben Gold and John Askew and remains one of the UK's reliable names in the harder dance space.

Peak-Time Trance Meets Techno

"Mirror Mirror" blends peak-time trance energy with a techno framework. A hard-hitting kick anchors the track from the opening bar, built around a hook that samples the classic "mirror mirror on the wall, who's the baddest of them all?" line. The extended mix runs just under five minutes.

The single is out now on doof.
