Tape B and Dani King Release 'Underneath Your Skin' on Monstercat

Tape B and Dani King have released "Underneath Your Skin," a new dubstep track out now via Monstercat. The collaboration took more than three years to complete, with the EDM.com Class of 2025 artist revisiting and rewriting it multiple times before arriving at what he now considers one of his favorite records, according to a press release.

Three Years in the Making

The Istanbul-raised producer walked away from the track entirely at one point during its development. King's voice opens the arrangement over stripped-back production, singing, "I wanna feel the magic / The way it takes you high / Let me set your heart on fire." The drop delivers Tape B's signature vowel bass alongside growling low-end.

Part of a Broader Creative Shift

"Underneath Your Skin" marks another step in Tape B's evolution since he shelved his popular "Driptapes" remix series last year to focus on writing his debut album. It remains unclear whether the new single will appear on the record, which has no announced title or release date.

Busy Year for Both Artists

The release continues a prolific 2026 for Tape B, who is currently on the road with Levity for the "Summer Program" amphitheater tour. He has a nearly sold-out two-night Red Rocks takeover lined up for October, building on recent collaborations with Zeds Dead and Subtronics ("Word Scramble") and Of The Trees ("Brackish"). King has also been active this year, releasing collaborations with BARELY ALIVE, TYNAN, SampliFire and others.
