Creamfields has announced The Prodigy as the first headliner for its 2027 edition, marking the band's first appearance at the festival since 2013. The UK electronic act will headline the APEX stage, a 30,000-capacity indoor venue, as part of the festival's 30th anniversary celebration.
14-Year Gap Between Festival Appearances
The Prodigy last performed at Creamfields in 2013, making their 2027 return a 14-year wait for fans. The band recently completed a sold-out UK tour called Warriors Dance alongside Carl Cox, reviving the energy of 90s rave culture with tracks like Firestarter, Breathe, and Omen.

Liam Howlett and MC Maxim will be joined by longtime live members Leo Crabtree and Rob Holliday for the performance. The announcement signals Creamfields' intent to honor its history as it enters its third decade, following a 2026 edition that drew 80,000 attendees per day.
Creamfields 2027 takes place over the UK Bank Holiday weekend in August. Tickets are on sale now, with additional lineup announcements expected in the coming months.
