TL;DR

DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Awards will take place at [UNVRS] in Ibiza on October 6 for a second consecutive year. The ceremony will reveal the World's No. 1 DJ live, with the winner performing a special set afterward. ANASTAZJA, Lost Frequencies, Korolova, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO, and Vintage Culture will perform throughout the night.

Second Consecutive Year at [UNVRS]

DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs Awards will return to [UNVRS] in Ibiza on October 6. Following the venue's debut hosting in 2025, this year's ceremony again centers on the live announcement of The World's No. 1 DJ, who will also play a special set immediately after the result. ANASTAZJA, Lost Frequencies, Korolova, Charlotte de Witte, GORDO, and Vintage Culture will perform throughout the night. The ceremony will recognize leading names across house, techno, trance, and harder styles.

A Historic Moment for the Poll and the Venue

Last year, David Guetta took the No. 1 position for a fifth time, tying him with Martin Garrix and Armin van Buuren, who have also topped the poll five times. Another victory for any of the three would create the first six-time winner in the poll's 33-year history. The 2025 ceremony took place during the opening season of [UNVRS], which launched in May 2025 under The Night League. Less than a year later, the venue reached No. 1 in DJ Mag's Top 100 Clubs 2026 poll, becoming the first club to take the top spot within 12 months of opening.

The Poll's Legacy and This Year's Categories

DJ Mag introduced Top 100 DJs in 1993 for the magazine's 100th issue. What began as an editorial list later became a global public vote. Now in its 33rd year, DJ Mag describes it as the world's largest publicly voted music poll. Voters can choose any five DJs without a nomination shortlist or eligibility criteria. Voting for the 2026 edition opened on July 8 and closed on September 16 at 23:59 GMT. Alongside the overall No. 1 position, the ceremony will present awards for The World's No. 1 Trance DJ, Hard DJ, Techno DJ, House DJ, and DJ Group. Highest New Entry, Highest Climber, Future Star, and Outstanding Contribution will also be recognized during the night.

The event takes place during one of the final weeks of the venue's 2026 season, between Armin van Buuren presents A State Of Trance on October 5 and Jamie Jones presents Paradise on October 7. Tickets and VIP bookings for Top 100 DJs LIVE are available through the venue, with the event beginning at 11:30 PM.
