TL;DR

Producer Two Phased has launched his independent label, Two Phased Records, with debut single 'Light It Up'. The Germany- and Dubai-based artist plans a six-to-eight-week release schedule, with 'Watch Me Walk In' slated as the next single and a potential remix package in development.

“What fascinated me most was the ability to control the atmosphere of an entire room through music.”

“Two Phased Records is about creative independence and building a catalogue of music that I genuinely believe in.”

Producer Two Phased has launched his own imprint, Two Phased Records, with 'Light It Up' as its inaugural release. The driving house single, catalogued as TPR001, marks a new chapter for the Germany- and Dubai-based artist, who began DJing at 16 and has built a sound around powerful basslines, melodic hooks and clean production.

Building a Sound Between Two Cities

Stephen, the producer behind the project, splits his time between Germany and Dubai. He describes the Two Phased sound as energetic and melodic, driven by infectious grooves and underground club elements paired with sticky hooks. He's drawn to tracks that create a feeling, whether deep and hypnotic or engineered to lift the energy of a dancefloor, and sees no reason to lock himself into a single genre.

His fascination with electronic music began with the ability to control the atmosphere of a room. That love of reading a crowd has evolved into production work that aims to translate the same connection into original tracks.

Release Strategy and What's Next

Two Phased Records will operate on a six-to-eight-week release cycle. Stephen says consistency matters when building both an artist brand and a label, but he's committed to releasing only music he believes in. Next up is 'Watch Me Walk In', a bass-driven club track with a distinctive vocal hook that he believes could become his biggest release yet. He's considering a remix package for that single, with versions aimed at both deeper underground floors and festival stages.

No official remixes of 'Light It Up' are currently planned, though he's open to other producers putting their own spin on the track.

Dream Collaborators and Long-Term Vision

Asked about dream collaborations, Stephen points to David Guetta and Axwell. He admires Guetta's ability to reinvent his sound while staying relevant across generations, and Axwell's production quality and emotional resonance. Both represent different sides of what draws him to electronic music.

Beyond the studio, performing remains central to his plans. Having started as a DJ, he's looking forward to bringing his music to clubs, beach clubs and festivals internationally. 'Light It Up' is available now on Two Phased Records, with 'Watch Me Walk In' set to follow in the coming weeks.
