April Festival Brings House, Techno, and Bass to Fort Worth
Disco Presents has announced the lineup for Ubbi Dubbi 2027, returning to Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas on April 23 and 24. The eighth edition of the spring festival will be headlined by Illenium, Steve Aoki, Galantis, MK (Marc Kinchen), Deorro, Adventure Club, Jessica Audiffred, and Lilly Palmer.
The lineup also includes NGHTMRE, Flux Pavilion, Dimension, Sullivan King, ACRAZE, Holy Priest, TVBOO, and Latin Grammy winners 3BALLMTY. Four sunset sets are scheduled for Adventure Club, 3BALLMTY, ŁASZEWO, and Sullivan King. Back-to-back pairings include Wankdat (Crankdat B2B Wooli), Flozone B2B STVSH, Juos B2B Rommii, and Panteros666 B2B Pawlowski.
Canditopia Theme Anchors Visual Concept
The 2027 edition introduces Canditopia, a candy-themed visual concept described as a world where house, techno, and bass collide. According to the festival's narrative, characters Ubbi and Dubbi receive a transmission from deep space and travel through a portal to a planet made of candy, complete with candy mountains, cotton-candy clouds, giant lollipops, and jellybean forests.
The festival's premise centers on the friendship between Ubbi, drawn to house and techno, and Dubbi, who gravitates toward dubstep and trap. That genre contrast runs through the programming. Illenium brings melodic bass, Galantis delivers euphoric festival anthems, and MK represents house music's club-ready grooves. On the heavier side, Adventure Club, Jessica Audiffred, NGHTMRE, and Flux Pavilion handle melodic bass and dubstep, while Lilly Palmer and Holy Priest cover harder techno and hard dance. Dimension represents drum & bass, and Deorro fuses electro-house with Latin rhythms.
