TL;DR

UNTOLD Festival opens its eleventh edition this week as UNTOLD ONE, marking a rebrand for the Romanian event. Martin Garrix headlines alongside Carl Cox, Kygo, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, and The Chainsmokers, who return for the first time since 2018. More than 200 artists will perform across nine stages August 6-9, with attendance expected to exceed 470,000.

UNTOLD Festival opens its eleventh edition Thursday in Cluj-Napoca under a new name: UNTOLD ONE. The rebrand signals the start of a new decade for Romania's largest music gathering, which has grown into one of Europe's most ambitious multi-genre events.

Martin Garrix leads expanded lineup

Dutch producer Martin Garrix headlines a bill that includes Carl Cox, Kygo, Marshmello, Steve Aoki, and The Chainsmokers, who return to the festival for the first time since 2018. Sting and Lewis Capaldi add range beyond electronic music, alongside Swae Lee, Flo Rida, and Zara Larsson.

More than 200 artists will perform across nine stages over four days, spanning house, techno, trance, drum & bass, hip-hop, and rock. Dedicated stages include Galaxy for house and techno and Alchemy for drum & bass. Attendance is expected to top 470,000.

Cluj Arena and Central Park host performances

The festival takes place at Cluj Arena, located in a city known more for medieval architecture than electronic music. Central Park serves as a secondary hub with hammocks, art installations, and smaller stages. Organizers have promised expanded production and storytelling for the new era, though details remain under wraps until doors open.

UNTOLD ONE runs August 6-9, 2026. Passes are available at the festival's official website.
