Ushuaïa Ibiza turned a potential scheduling conflict into a unique event last Sunday, broadcasting the FIFA World Cup final live during Swedish House Mafia's set. Rather than compete with the match, the venue and the Swedish trio leaned into the overlap, screening Spain's championship win on stage while the group performed.
Dual celebration on the Ushuaïa stage
The decision created what may have been one of the more memorable World Cup viewing experiences of the tournament. Attendees watched the final unfold on the club's screens while Swedish House Mafia delivered their signature anthems from the outdoor stage. The venue shared footage of the hybrid event on Instagram, showing the crowd reacting to both the match and the music.
Summer tour continues across Europe and North America
Swedish House Mafia will return to Ushuaïa for additional dates this summer and are scheduled to play Tomorrowland weekend two, Creamfields, Untold, Portola, and Head Trip. Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello premiered a new track at Tomorrowland, with more music from the trio expected soon.
