Brazilian DJ and producer Lukas Ruiz, known professionally as Vintage Culture, announced via Instagram Story that he is stepping back from touring to rest and recover. The artist will not perform at Mykonos or Burning Man this year, and his scheduled September 7 appearance at ARC Music Festival is also expected to be canceled.
A Grueling Schedule
Vintage Culture cited the toll of performing 25 shows across three continents in the span of a month. He explained that he is taking this week to rest and recover from the physically and mentally demanding schedule.
Recent Output on Affairs
The hiatus follows a prolific 2026 for releases. Vintage Culture recently dropped the SELEKTA EP, a collaboration with American DJ and producer Kevin Brauer, as well as the single "Think Too Much." Both releases appeared on Affairs, the record label he founded last year.
Vintage Culture has not announced when he will return to touring or where he will perform next.
