Wax Motif will headline Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles on Friday, September 25, in what Insomniac Events is billing as the largest House of Wax show to date. The outdoor event marks a significant scale-up for the touring brand, which has become a fixture in the house music circuit over the past few years.
Custom Production and Unreleased Material
The Grand Park date will debut a new audiovisual setup built specifically for the occasion, featuring visuals that have not appeared at any previous Wax Motif performance. Attendees can expect a live preview of unreleased material alongside cuts from House of Wax II, his recently released sophomore album. Special guests and supporting acts are still to be announced.
Collaboration-Heavy Sophomore Album
House of Wax II brings together Ty Dolla $ign, ZHU, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jozzy, Maeta, MC Lan, 24hrs, and GTA, threading house music through hip-hop, R&B, and global club sounds. The record reflects the genre-crossing approach that has defined the Australian producer's career, including his co-production work on Ty Dolla $ign's TYCOON, which hit No. 1 in more than 80 countries within a day of release.
From Australia to LA
Born Daniel Chien in Australia and now based in Los Angeles, Wax Motif has worked behind the scenes with Kanye West, Timbaland, G-Eazy, and Tinashe, while building a catalog that has racked up tens of millions of streams. He also teamed up with Matroda for the Waxtroda project, which sold out its debut show at Brooklyn Mirage. His sound has drawn support from Dom Dolla, John Summit, Chris Lake, Solomun, and MEDUZA.
The Grand Park show follows a set at EDC Las Vegas 2026 that mixed House of Wax II material with unreleased tracks. Tickets are available now.
