We Belong Here Expands to New Orleans This November

Riverfront Debut Planned for November

We Belong Here will make its New Orleans debut November 13–15 at Woldenberg Riverfront Park along the Mississippi River. The three-day festival marks the brand's first expansion to the Gulf Coast city, bringing a large-scale dance music event to a venue with views of the French Quarter.

The park's riverfront location offers an open-air setting that aligns with the festival's signature approach. According to co-founder Justin Dauman, the city's musical history and community requests made it a natural fit for expansion.

Bridging Local and Global Dance Culture

"New Orleans is not only a musical epicenter, it's a true cultural melting pot and a highly requested city from our community, all of which makes it a perfect home for a new We Belong Here experience," Dauman said. "Its heritage as the birthplace of Jazz is interconnected with playing a massive role in popularizing house and rave culture in the South. We're excited to create a new experience that bridges local and global dance music culture together to reconnect with that legacy."

The festival plans to integrate local culture, food, art, and community partnerships alongside its lineup of electronic artists. Large-scale dance music festivals have been scarce in New Orleans in recent years, creating space for a new event to take root.

Miami Roots, Multi-City Growth

Since launching in Miami in 2021, We Belong Here has expanded to locations across New York and Florida, building a reputation around experience-driven programming that combines music, design, and setting. The brand positions itself as a boutique festival focused on community rather than lineup alone.

Lineup announcements and ticket information will be released in the coming months. Fans can sign up for updates at webelonghere.world/neworleans.
