Four-City Rollout Follows Strong Debut Year
Your Shot is doubling its U.S. presence for 2026, bringing the DJ development program to Denver and Miami while returning to Los Angeles and New York. The expansion follows a debut season that brought in more than 500 first-time DJs and drew over 10,000 attendees to showcase weekends across LA and New York.
The program pairs aspiring DJs with industry mentors and professional gear, culminating in live showcase events where winners are selected. Two female DJs, Jelly Bean and Punky Butter, won the inaugural class and secured opening slots at Elements Music & Arts Festival and CRSSD Festival this year.
AlphaTheta and Sony Join as Equipment Partners
AlphaTheta, the company behind Pioneer DJ gear, is expanding its involvement by supplying mixers and controllers nationally. Sony joins as a new partner, providing its ULT POWER SOUND speaker line and pro audio headphones. The partnerships aim to give participants hands-on experience with the same professional-grade equipment they would encounter in club and festival environments.
Registration Open Ahead of August Selection Events
More than 8,300 people have pre-registered nationally for the 2026 season, outpacing last year's numbers before the program has even begun. In-person selection dates are scheduled across all four cities starting in late August: Bar Standard in Denver on August 22, M2 Nightclub in Miami on August 29, Catch One in Los Angeles on September 12, and Elsewhere in Brooklyn on September 19.
