TL;DR

Zedd has released a vintage electro house remix of aespa's "LEMONADE," transforming the K-pop track with the gritty basslines and production style of his early work. The remix arrives alongside another official version from Berlin-based producer Marlon Hoffstadt.

A Return to Classic Electro House

Zedd has released a remix of aespa's "LEMONADE," reworking the South Korean group's K-pop track with the gritty basslines and infectious grooves that defined his early catalog. The producer strips away the original framework and replaces it with vintage electro house production, pairing adrenaline-fueled drops with the group's confident vocal delivery.

Another East Asian Collaboration

The remix marks another foray into the East Asian diaspora for Zedd. In 2024, he was invited to create music for Dragon Ball DAIMA, the final Dragon Ball anime project on which creator Akira Toriyama worked prior to his death. He composed and produced the anime's opening theme, "Jaka Jaan," and the ending theme, "Nakama."

Dual Remix Release

Zedd's rework of "LEMONADE" arrives alongside another official remix from Marlon Hoffstadt, the Berlin-based producer known for his blend of trance and Eurodance.

Both remixes are available now.
