TL;DR

Zeds Dead launched their Journey Of A Lifetime Tour at Deadrocks XII in Colorado, selling more than 30,000 tickets across four events including two sold-out Red Rocks shows. The tour debut introduced the duo's new "Channel Flipping" production concept, built around their album Return to the Return (of the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness), featuring constantly evolving visuals that blend vintage television, film, and pop culture references.

Four-Day Colorado Takeover Draws 30,000 Fans

Zeds Dead kicked off their Journey Of A Lifetime Tour at Deadrocks XII, the duo's annual Fourth of July weekend celebration in Morrison, Colorado. Now in its twelfth year, the event has grown from two nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre into a multi-day takeover that sold more than 30,000 tickets across four events over three days, including two sold-out Red Rocks shows, the annual Backyard Jamboree, and the Mission Ballroom Hangover show.

The tour debut introduced the duo's new "Channel Flipping" production concept, built around their recently released album Return to the Return (of the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness). The visual experience weaves together vintage television broadcasts, classic films, surreal animation, archival footage, and pop culture references, constantly evolving alongside the music rather than serving as a static backdrop.

Two Distinct Nights at Red Rocks

Night One on July 2 featured support from MARAH, RSUN, Neumonic, UK drum & bass artist SOTA, and Mary Droppinz before Zeds Dead took the stage. The set balanced fresh material from the new album with fan favorites, classic releases, hip-hop edits, dubstep anthems, and throwbacks, showcasing the seamless genre transitions that have defined the duo's live performances for more than 15 years.

Night Two offered a completely different experience with the same production but distinct music selections and pacing. LUMBERJVCK opened before Hydraulix, Axel Boy, and a back-to-back set from Baauer and Holly. Sippy delivered a hard-hitting dubstep set ahead of Zeds Dead, who closed the evening by navigating through dubstep, drum & bass, hip-hop, house, and deeper catalog cuts with minimal overlap from the previous night.

Extended Celebration and Tour Ahead

The weekend continued on July 4 with the Backyard Jamboree, featuring Casey Club, HEYZ b2b Sippy, Caspa b2b Distinct Motive, and Zeds Dead in a more relaxed daytime setting. The tradition concluded with the Hangover show at Mission Ballroom, where Papajay opened before Zeds Dead performed two extended sets, including a surprise back-to-back with Of The Trees.

The Journey Of A Lifetime Tour continues across North America, bringing the production and creative vision introduced at Red Rocks to fans nationwide.
